Levy Realty Advisors Tapped To Lease, Manage 500,000-SF Retail/Industrial Portfolio
Levy Realty Advisors recently completed a $100,000 renovation of the retail plaza, anchored by Home Depot, Big Lots, AT&T, Wendy’s, Enterprise and BB &T Bank, with more capital improvements planned for both the retail as well as the industrial buildings.
This new assignment puts Levy Realty Advisors’ total management portfolio at approximately 3,565,000 square feet and marks the company’s first presence in Miami-Dade County, a goal of Levy Realty Advisors COO Joshua Levy. Click here for the news article.

The Company is pleased to announce that during the 12 month Calendar Year ending on 12/31/18, the company set a new record for leasing volume. The Company completed leases totaling 1,022,040 Square Feet of Industrial, Office, and Retail space and ended up with less the 5% vacancy at year end for its overall 3.3 million Sq Ft under Management.

In 2011, Josh Levy graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Philosophy. He worked briefly in politics before going back to school for his Master's degree in 2013 at Columbia University in the City of New York. While working towards a Master of Public Administration, Josh led a team of his peers in developing new analytic tools for The World Bank, and after receiving his degree, Josh became a part of the United Nations West Africa Integrated Operational Team, where he monitored developments in post-ebola Liberia. In 2015, Josh successfully launched a humanitarian mission in Uganda to construct disability accessible infrastructure in local primary schools, and in 2016 he managed several economic research initiatives in India with a focus on improving access to financial services for people living in extreme poverty. Since returning to the US, Josh has utilized his background in economics, communications, and negotiations to execute a number of business transactions and facilitate the growth of his family's business.
Richard moved to Florida in 1998 from Albany, New York after receiving his education in Accounting and working in the accounting/bookkeeping department for a Real Estate firm in Albany, New York for 4 years. Richard was hired by Levy Realty Advisors, Inc. in 1999 to handle the back office accounting and financial reporting for all of Levy Realty Advisor's Property Management and Corporate needs. Richard's role as Chief Operating Officer has become increasingly more important and has assisted the company with Y2K compliance, computer networking, improving the efficiency of the property management division and enabling the company to maintain controlled growth through enhanced technological advancements which he has single handedly implemented. Richard also serves as Alan Levy’s assistant to help manage and run the Corporate Office.
